The Transportation services team is relocating across the street to the ARCE building in mid-August. This move will help make room for the maintenance bay expansion project. Our Buff Bus and fleet mechanics will continue working in the current bus service bays. Exact date and room numbers are still being finalized — stay tuned!

The 2025 CU Employee Softball Tournament brought together eight teams from across campus for two days of friendly competition, teamwork, and campus camaraderie. From the returning LASP champs to rookies like “Land of Misfits,” players gave it their all on the field in a double-elimination bracket packed with high-energy matchups and playful rivalries. With standout performances, surprise upsets, and a final win by LASP after a two-game championship battle against OIT, the tournament wasn't just about softball; it was about building connections, boosting morale, and showing that teamwork doesn't end at the office door.

MOVE-IN

Tuesday, August 12 – Drop-off Day (9am-3pm) Parents/students can drop-off items to their assigned rooms but cannot “move-in” – 1776 appointments
Friday, August 15 – Move-in (10am – 1pm) – 1470 appointments
Saturday, August 16 – Move-in (10am – 1pm) – 600 appointments
Sunday, August 17 – Move-in (10am – 4pm) – 2418 appointments
Monday, August 18 – Move-in (9am – 4pm) – 3027 appointments
Tuesday, August 19 – Move-in (9am – 12:30pm) – 1698 appointments

General Parking Notes:

All visitor parking lots, including metered and pay station parking, Euclid Parking Garage and Folsom Parking Garage (Visitor level P1) will be closed August 17-19. These areas are allocated for move-in operations/event parking.
During move-in operations vehicles parked in designated Quick Drop Zones, fire lanes, ADA spaces (without a permit/placard) will be subject to relocation at the owner’s expense.
Only vehicles displaying move-in permits will be allowed access to Regent Drive from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 17th, Monday, August 18th, and Tuesday, August 19th.
Only vehicles displaying move-in permits are allowed access to Main Campus, Williams Village and Bear Creek parking lots during move-in parking closures (August 17, 18, and 19.)
Vehicles entering or exiting during this time must follow the active move-in traffic pattern as directed by Parking personnel.

Accessibility and Accommodations:
ADA permit holders may park in their permitted lot or will be directed to the closest available space.

On Central campus:

Willard will unload from lots 319 and 327
Hallett will unload from lot 430 (business lot)
Cheynne will unload from lot 310 and from Wardenburg Drive
Farrand will unload from Wardenburg Drive
Quad, Libby, and Baker will unload from lot 360
Sewall will unload from lot 380

After unloading in the lots above, students and families move their cars to:

Lot 391 (Folsom Garage)
Lot 205 (CASE Garage)
Lot 204
Lot 308 (C4C)
Lot 436 (Regent & Colorado behind CUPD)

Kitt will unload from anywhere in the Kitt Loop (Lots 404, 406, 412, 416, 414, 415, 418

Will Vill unloads from lots 622, 618, the Stearns Bus Stop, and along Apache Dr.

VERY busy traffic planned on the following:

Sunday, August 17 between 9am and 4pm
Monday, August 18 between 8am and 4pm
Tuesday, August 19 between 8am and 1pm

There will also be move-in traffic also during the following times (just in smaller quantities)

Tuesday, August 12 between 9am and 3pm (Drop off day, about 900 appointments)

On July 11, the new required Skillsoft Percipio training course for Procurement Card (Pcard) holders and Approving Officials (AOs) went live. This new training requirement is related to IT purchases, and all PCard holders and AOs will be expected to familiarize themselves with the change. The updated training is designed to reduce risk, strengthen alignment with university IT security standards, and make IT purchasing more efficient across campuses.

What’s Changing – and Why

The PSC is updating guidance for IT purchases made with the Procurement Card (PCard). We’re working closely with campus leaders to ensure these purchases align with university policy, IT security standards, and strategic sourcing—while keeping things practical and efficient for departments.

Our goals are to:

Clarify what can and can’t be purchased using a PCard.
Help departments stay compliant while maintaining efficient operations.
Provide updated policies, targeted training, and helpful reminders in Concur on procurement policies and procedures.

Action Required

In support of these changes:

New applications for cardholders and AOs will be required to complete the new, additional IT Procurement Percipio training course beginning on July 11, 2025. Log in to Percipio via the employee portal to access the course.
All current Procurement cardholders and Approving Officials (AOs) will be required to complete this course by September 1, 2025.

This short course will address the most compliant and efficient ways to purchase IT at CU.

Pcard Training - This course has been updated for the new IT purchase guidance. While the revised policy is effective for existing cardholders on Sept 1, new cardholders should be prepared to begin exercising this guidance immediately.
Approving Official - This course has been updated for the new IT purchase guidance. While the revised policy is effective for existing cardholders on Sept 1, new cardholders and their Approving Officials should be prepared to begin exercising this guidance immediately.

Procurement Card Handbook – Beginning 9/1/2025, the following guidance will be added to the Violations and Prohibited Transactions section of the Procurement Card Handbook:

IT PURCHASES (INCLUDING HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND SERVICES)

Effective 9/1/2025: Cardholders are prohibited from using the Procurement Card to purchase IT goods or services that are covered under an existing university agreement. This could be an enterprise-wide or campus-wide agreement, a mandatory price agreement, or a master services agreement. Additionally, cardholders cannot use the Procurement Card to make any IT purchases further prohibited by their campus.

Existing IT agreements can be reviewed on the PSC’s IT Procurement page as well as on the campus-specific page links listed below. Cardholders are expected to review existing agreements as well as information on campus-specific restrictions and allowability when considering making any IT purchase on their card.

Any IT purchase that is eligible to be made on the Procurement Card must have all associated security, compliance, or contractual components reviewed before payment is completed. Refer to the PSC’s IT Procurement webpage for additional guidance.

Concur Warnings on IT Expense Types - Beginning 9/1/2025, when Procurement Card expenses are reconciled using an IT Expense Type in Concur (i.e. Software, Computers, etc.), the following message will appear in the expense entry screen reminding cardholders of the limitations on IT purchases using a Procurement Card:

Procurement Cards are not to be used for the purchase of IT goods or services that are covered under an existing enterprise-wide or campus-wide agreement. Additionally, cardholders cannot use the Procurement Card to make any IT purchases further prohibited by their campus. Existing IT agreements can be reviewed on the PSC’s IT Procurement page and campus specific guidance can be found in the pages linked below:

On Tuesday, Aug. 12, staff from Infrastructure and Resilience (I&R), Finance and Business Services (FBS) and the Division of Public Safety (DPS) are invited (and encouraged) to come together and dedicate a few hours of service back to our campus community. Our goal for the day is to engage with and give back to our campus. All registrants will receive lunch and a CU 51��ý branded trucker hat.
