Using the Penji App

1. Open the app and click the “Get started” button.

2. Sign up with your colorado.edu email address.

3. Select “Learn” from the sidebar menu.

4. Choose the type of tutoring session you would like to attend.

5. Click “Join a course” and search for the course you want tutoring in.

6. Select your course from the list of options. If you don’t see your course listed, contact us.

7. Use the filters available to find a time, location and tutor mentor that are right for you.

8. Select a tutor mentor from the options available. Allow at least 24 hours for your tutor mentor to confirm the tutoring session. They should also reach out to you in the chat.

9. Click the “Chat” link to send a message to your tutor mentor.

10. Review the date, time and location of your reserved tutoring session. We recommend you add your session to your calendar or planner. If you decide to cancel, message your tutor mentor at least 24 hours in advance.
