The University of Colorado Sexual Misconduct, Intimate Partner Violence and Stalking Policy听prohibits sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, sexual exploitation and sexual harassment.

Instances of sexual harassment or sexual misconduct should be reported to the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC).听

Office of Victim Assistance (OVA)
Individuals who have experienced sexual misconduct, intimate partner violence and stalking and would like confidential support can reach out to OVA, which provides free advocacy, trauma-focused counseling and consultation. Visit the OVA website for information about initiating services.

Mandatory Reporting
If an individual discloses alleged sexual harassment or sexual misconduct to a CU employee who is a mandatory reporter or what is called a 鈥渞esponsible employee鈥 (any employee who has the authority to hire, promote, discipline, evaluate, grade, formally advise or direct faculty, staff or students), these individuals are required to inform OIEC.
