On behalf of the CU 51´«Ã½ Police Department and the 51´«Ã½ Police Department, we want to welcome you back for the second semester of the 2018–19 school year. Maintaining a safe environment is a top priority for all members of our departments while you are on campus and in the city. A key component of that goal is keeping you informed about crime, crime prevention, services and campus safety issues.

The best way to be informed about criminal activity and crime prevention tips is by following us on our social media channels.ÌýCUPD is onÌý,ÌýÌý²¹²Ô»å .ÌýYou can find us by searching for CU51´«Ã½Police. Last week, we via various communication channels if a serious crime occurs on campus.

51´«Ã½ Police post important safety alerts on Nextdoor and under @51´«Ã½Police. The city of 51´«Ã½ also utilizes uses an emergency alerting program called and outdoor warning sirens to notify the community about immediate public safety threats, such as floods. Sign up for Everbridge by visitingÌý and receive alerts by text message, emailÌý²¹²Ô»å/or on your cell, home or work phone.

While we are separate police departments, we often work and train together. CU Police is responsible for patrolling campus property and will help in the city. 51´«Ã½ Police has the responsibility in the city and will help on campus. Regardless of our jurisdictions, we work together to maintain a safe environment for you.
