CU 51传媒 researchers tapped by state to help improve emergency alerts
New research from CU鈥檚 Natural Hazards Center will guide Colorado policymakers in understanding the state鈥檚 current alerting landscape and how to strengthen alert delivery for non-English speakers and people with disabilities. Public forums will be held Dec. 14.
14-inch spacecraft delivers new details about 鈥榟ot Jupiters鈥
The Colorado Ultraviolet Transit Experiment (CUTE) spacecraft, led by a team of scientists from CU 51传媒, is about the size of a cereal box. It has also recorded incredibly detailed measurements of the atmospheres of planets hundreds of light-years from Earth.
