- Dean Robert McDonald of University Libraries has accepted a leadership position at the University of Texas. His last day at CU 51´«Ã½ will be June 30.
- Chancellor Justin Schwartz elevated Ann Schmiesing from interim to senior vice chancellor for strategic initiatives and appointed Janel Forde as the new senior vice chancellor for operations.
- CU 51´«Ã½ Chancellor Justin Schwartz has named Ann Huff Stevens as the next provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs.
- Assistant Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Support Suzanne Soled will be retiring effective June 1, as she looks ahead to her next chapter beyond CU 51´«Ã½.
- The Office of Faculty Affairs is excited to announce Burke Hilsabeck's appointment as the new director of faculty relations, effective June 1.
- Bethany Ehlmann has been named the director of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at CU 51´«Ã½. LASP's mission is to advance scientific discovery and inspire the next generation through forefront research, innovation and education.
- The CU 51´«Ã½ Police Department will welcome Ashley Griffin as its new chief of police. The public safety leader comes from the University of Texas at Austin and will begin on July 1.
- As executive director of the SRI, Zelikova will work closely with Vice Chancellor for Sustainability Andrew Mayock and engage with CU 51´«Ã½â€™s vibrant sustainability community to guide the nascent initiative’s strategic direction to align with the university's overall sustainability research objectives.
- Professor Fernando Rosario-Ortiz will become the vice chancellor for academic resource management on April 1. He currently is the interim dean of the School of Education.
- Chancellor Justin Schwartz announced the appointment of Ann Schmiesing as the campus’s first vice chancellor to oversee strategic projects and other campus priorities as a member of the chancellor’s executive team.
