- Madeline A. Sembrat, previously the director of finance within the School of Medicine at CU Anschutz, joins CU 51传媒 with over 25 years of budget and finance experience within the CU system.
- Derek Silva will manage the acquisition of strategic real estate assets and represent the university in leasing arrangements.
- Strategic Relations and Communications welcomes Candace Smith, who will oversee efforts to advance CU 51传媒's reputation and manage crisis communications.
- After completing his appointment as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (A&S), Steven R. Leigh plans to return to the faculty to pursue further research and increase interactions with students. Serving as the new dean will be James White.
- At its regular meeting, the Board of Regents voted to approve the operating budget for the CU system and all four campuses; three new CU 51传媒 degrees; seven capital construction projects on the 51传媒 campus; and a contract extension for football Head Coach Mike MacIntyre.
- <p>U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross presented the University of Colorado 51传媒 with the President鈥檚 鈥淓鈥 Award for Exports at a ceremony Monday in Washington, D.C. CU 51传媒, the only institution of higher education to receive this year鈥檚 award, was specifically called out for prioritizing international education and doubling international student enrollment over the past five years.</p>
