Preamble- Mission Statement
Despite the lack of clear diversity on the University of Colorado 51´«Ã½â€™s campus, our collective social and cultural goal is to create a safe space for allÌýindividuals on campus and tackle the daily racism present at CU-51´«Ã½. We have developed distinct values, beliefs and behaviors, which have greatly benefited the 51´«Ã½ community. This collective consciousness enables our community and helps define our own identity as underrepresented students at the University of Colorado 51´«Ã½. We, Black Student Alliance of the University of Colorado 51´«Ã½, do hereby establish our organization, and draft this constitution in accordance with the policies of the University of Colorado 51´«Ã½ so that our purpose will be defined and realized to its fullest extent.
